Baron's Processor Suite - A New Paradigm for Weather Radar Data Processing

Baron Services’ suite of weather radar processors play an integral role within the radar system by effectively blending traditional signal processing techniques with innovative technologies like CLEAN-AP^TM for superior data quality (CLEAN-AP™ © 2009 Board of Regents of the University of Oklahoma). In this paper, we provide exemplars of real world radar system issues successfully mitigated within the Baron processors by employing hybrid data processing architectures and ameliorating strategies that provide the user an unprecedented level of flexibility to fully optimize the radar’s usage as a sensor.
