Since the dual pol upgrade to the NEXRAD in Nashville, I have been waiting for the chance to use Correlation Coefficient to detect debris during tornado coverage. That opportunity finally came on the night of April 28, 2014, when a tornado in Lincoln County, TN lofted debris 19,000 feet into the air.
