The summer of '16 was a severe one in Northern Minnesota and Wisconsin. I plan on highlighting events like having 4 tornadic storms at once, a major flash flooding event, and a 69mph squall line in downtown Duluth, MN. All the events occured in just over a month! This amount of severe weather is rare to have in the Northland and was the most active summer I've experienced as chief in my 6 years in this market. I plan on partering with my local NWS office and presenting the info on our active summer.
