Social Media Coverage During a Severe Weather Event: A Discussion

Social media has become a critical part of the dissemination of information during severe weather events. This paper will give an overview of the 24 August 2023 southeast Michigan tornado event, and a few examples of my social media posting during the event aside from the "usual" warning posts. A discussion will then follow so we can all discuss our best practices and learn from each other.
