A Maury Teacher at Sea with NOAA

As a Maury Teacher and A Datastreme Master Teacher I would like to share how I was able to integrate my experiences as a NOAA Teacher at Sea into my classroom and my other Marine and Atmopheric education outreach projects. I will discuss my voyage aboard the Roger Revelle and the scientific research I helped with. I will show how I used the internet to share my experiences with my own students and many others around the world.
From live webcasts to answering hundreds of e-mails from students and teachers, I will share how this experience has influenced my teaching of Ocean and Atmospheric Science as well as how it is being used as an outreach tool for educators in the classroom.
