Automated Weather Decision Support Systems (Formerly Paper Number 18.8)

Meteorlogix has integrated historical, real-time, and forecast weather information, with Geographic Information System (GIS) spatial analysis technology, to develop intelligent automated decision support systems capable of assisting organizations manage weather related risk, increase safety for their employees, improve operating efficiencies, and provide enhanced customer service. These weather-enabled decision support systems introduce the capability of simultaneously monitoring a multitude of environmental parameters, in real-time, and automatically triggering location-specific alerts when conditions warrant. Numerous examples of operational commercially systems, utilizing this new and innovative technology, will be demonstrated.
