Changnon's Contributions to the Atmospheric Sciences: History Does Have a Future

Natural and social science students interested in climate - society interactions can benefit greatly from looking back to the early works of elder statesmen in their fields. Changnon's research on the impacts of atmospheric processes on society and society's impacts on the atmosphere demands their first-hand attention. More than five decades of Stan's diverse research have stood the test of time. .
