AccuWeather.com first became available as a source of free advertiser-supported Internet weather information in 1996, with the introduction of the fee-supported AccuWeather.com Premium in 1997. In 2003, AccuWeather introduced a version of its premium site designed specifically for forecast meteorologists, known as AccuWeather.com Professional. The site was built to provide a complete array of highly advanced data and computer model information worldwide, all in one place in an easy-to-use, ad-free format. Some of the features include:
