New television system capabilities

AccuWeather's Galileo was the first advanced PC-based television graphics system, and many new capabilities have been added in the past year to provide more and better options in production and severe weather support.
The latest advancement in severe weather support is the SelectWarn integrated weather monitoring and warning system with GIS mapping. Designed to identify multiple threats simultaneously and effectively, SelectWarn can handle anything from tornadoes to floods to chemical or biological events. Graphics are presentable in either static or animated 2-D or 3-D formats, and may be further enhanced with a variety of special effects. The system also has integrated Internet functionality, so that it can seamlessly output on-air presentations as web pages.
SelectWarn will be explained and demonstrated along with new features and capabilities of Galileo, especially those enabling advanced local severe weather coverage.
