Tropical Cyclones in the Western North Pacific

The western North Pacific is the most active area of tropical cyclones (TCs). More than one thirds of the TCs in the world form in this area, and they hits the most populated areas such as Philippines, Vietnam, China bringing disasters. The features on the activities of the tropical cyclones (TCs) in the western North Pacific in 2006 are described, including number of TCs, the disasters brought by TCs and so on.
