This project describes the recent work the author has completed on developing a lexicon of adjectives that can be used to describe weather and climate conditions. This work builds upon the author's Climate Adjective Rating Scale (CARS), which is a psychological measure used to examine how people use language to characterize their experience of the weather and climate. This project goes beyond the use of the CARS and examines the use of weather and climate adjectives in narratives that depict weather and climate
