Enhancing Elementary School Students' Understanding of Hurricanes

This poster will provide examples of how Fifth Grade students learn about fundamental concepts of hurricane development and direction of path, as well as effects on ocean waves and landmasses using the AMS Education Modules: “Hazardous Weather”, “Wind-Driven Ocean Circulation”, and “Shallow-Water Ocean Waves.”
