The goal of this work is to design and develop a unified NESDIS protocol for monitoring and validating operational products data for next generation NPOESS satellites. To fulfill this goal, we plan to deliver an expanded collocation data compilation and validation capability for ATOVS operational products that also serves as a baseline for anticipated expansions in conjunction with next generation NPOESS satellites. In this presentation, we will describe the collocation database compilation and product evaluation capability comparing ATOVS, ATOVS/MIRS, GOES, Aqua-AIRS, and COSMIC soundings versus global radiosondes and NWP profiles.
