Walter Wolf, NOAA/NESDIS, Camp Springs, MD; and L. Zhou, P. Keehn, Q. Guo, S. Sampson, S. Qiu, and M. Goldberg

The GOES-R Algorithm Working Group (AWG) Product Processing System Framework has been implemented at NOAA/NESDIS/STAR. The framework was designed and implemented to enable processing for the various Level 2 Advance Baseline Imager (ABI) products and the GOES-R Lightning Mapper products. It has been put in place to aid in the development and testing of the AWG geophysical product processing systems. The dependence of one product on the output of another product (product precedence) has been has been accounted for in both the design and implementation of the framework. Data common to all the product systems are read into the framework once for all the products and are passed to the appropriate product systems. These input and output data files to the framework are in NetCDF4 format. These design features and the current algorithms integrated into the framework will be discussed.
