The Thorney Island Dense Gas Dispersion Trials

In this presentation, an overview will be provided of the classic Thorney Island dense gas field experiment. Based on review of original papers and reports, information about the experimental set-up, instrumentation, and types of data collected will be described. Examples of raw measurements obtained from the experiment will be discussed in relation to model validation.
