During the past 18 months the Federal Aviation Administration in collaboration with the National Weather Service Space Weather Prediction Center has been developing a Concept of Operation on the provision of space weather in support of international air navigation. The ConOps will form the backbone of a strategic plan for the international community on how services for space weather will be provided for international air navigation. This presentation will report out on the progress that has been made and describe the operational and functional requirements for the services. In addition, information will be provided that describes the gaps or shortfalls and the issues that need to be addressed in a long-term plan on how fulfill those service requirements for global harmonization.
