U. S. weather agency directors will discuss how their agencies plan to 1) utilize new satellite systems which promise to produce data with much improved spatial, spectral, and temporal resolutions and 2) meet the challenge of finding ways to effectively handle and use large increases in data volume and fidelity from the new satellites and to integrate these data with other data sources to provide optimal value to their customers.
