ParaView is an immensely popular scientific visualization application that provides various tools necessary for scientific visualization, specially dealing with large data, which ultimately leads to a better understanding of simulation and nonsimulation climate data. The Ultra scale Visualization Climate Data Analysis Tools (UV-CDAT) is a powerful and complete front-end to a rich set of visual-data exploration and analysis capabilities well suited for climate-data analysis problems.

Our presentation will demonstrate new functionalities that are added to the UV-CDAT using ParaView, specially dealing with spatio-temporal parallelism for extremely large datasets. Also, we will demonstrate various other useful features of ParaView that are useful for data exploration. Sample code used in the presentation and slides will be made available on the ParaView web site. No programming experience will be required for this presentation.
