Meeting strategies of National Meteorological Service by outsourcing services

National Meteorological Services are improving their efficiencies and outsourcing service tasks with are not on their core area. This trend seems to be world-wide and thus Vaisala has been developing a service concept to help the meteorological community to find the best solution for all measurements cost-efficiently.

Vaisala has a long track record of system deliveries around the world and the expertise is available globally for all customers during system deliveries, training sessions and the entire system life-cycle. With Vaisala services and knowhow meteorological community can guarantee high data quality and high data availability which are essential in today's world.

In the paper and presentation Vaisala will show the portfolio of services available today to ensure the weather observation system keeps working productively over its entire life-cycle, or Vaisala can even assume the operational responsibility of the observation network on behalf of National Meteorological Service.
