By late summer 2004, the Lightning Mapping Array (LMA) of the New Mexico Institute for Mining and Technology will be installed at the White Sands Missile Range (WSMR) in south central New Mexico. The ingest, display, and analysis system associated with the 'auto-nowcaster' that is running at WSMR has been tested for displaying LMA products using data from the STEPS field program (Colorado-Kansas, spring 2000). These efforts will be described in detail as an introduction to the initial LMA ingest and display from the new installation at WSMR. Potential case studies from the WSMR LMA will demonstrate the utility of the LMA data and areas where further development is needed.
