On 29 May 2004, a tornadic HP supercell moved through central Oklahoma and the center of the Thunderstorm Electrificaton and Lightning Experiment (TELEX) domain. Data from the Lightning Mapping Array (LMA) depicts the evolution of the storm, including convective surges, overshooting tops, and lightning weak holes. This is the first HP supercell case for which three-dimensional lightning mapping data have been available. In addition to the LMA, the storm was also observed by two C-band Shared Mobile Atmospheric Research and Teaching (SMART) radars providing three-minute volume scans and by the KOUN polarmetric S-band radar. Observations from these platforms provide insight into HP supercell evolution and structure and into relationships of lightning with other properties of the storm. .
