Hurricane Katrina: historic disaster, national tragedy

The devastation, death and misery wrought by hurricane Katrina have prompted outpourings of sympathy from around the nation and the world and have made clear the necessity of learning Katrina's tragic and costly lessons. This poster was created by students from the Climate and Society Masters Program of Columbia University and is an attempt to address the many dimensions and lessons of this devastating event.
