Data Warehousing and its Potential Using in Weather Forecast

Data warehouse is new generation of Decision Support System ( DSS ) and has great potential to be used in weather forecast decision support . In this paper the concept of Data Warehouse and its traits are briefly discussed . A designing of the data warehouse for weather forecasting is described .Meanwhile the key technologies of data storing , online analysis process and data mining system and how to use them in weather forecasting are also discussed .
