The Atmospheric Composition Data and Information Services Center (ACDISC)
Poster PDF (1.6 MB)
The ACDISC serves as a one-stop shopping center for atmospheric composition data by providing information and data from various remote-sensing missions. They include heritage BUV, SBUV, LIMS, TOMS, UARS, MODIS, and AIRS data sets, to the most recent data from Aura OMI, MLS, and HIRDLS, as well as atmospheric composition data sets residing at other remote archive sites.
This presentation will address the challenges in data access and usage of large atmospheric composition data and how the ACDISC can facilitate the access to and usage of the large and long-term records of multisensor atmospheric composition data sets for climate and global chnage studies.
