Integrating Improved Weather Forecast Data with TFM Decision Support Systems

The FAA and airlines are currently defining and refining the collaborative decision traffic making process for responding to anticipated severe weather disruptions to traffic flow. CDM includes the integration of weather forecast information into the decision making process. This paper discusses current activities in this regard and presents results that may inform future work into the direct integration of weather information into TFM decision support tools.
