The four instruments, VIIRS, CrIS, ATMS, and OMPS, on the NPOESS Preparatory Project (NPP), will provide 25 data products to two primary user communities – operations and climate. The climate group generally has less stringent requirements for data timeliness and availability.

Selected data products that meet the requirements of each community will be described. The data product requirements, algorithm development, and product validation processes will be presented.
