Exhibit Hall A2 (Georgia World Congress Center)
NPOESS employs 13 sensor suites to provide critical, timely, reliable, and high quality space-based sensing capability to acquire and process Earth and near space environmental imagery and specialized meteorological, climatic, terrestrial, oceanographic, solar-geophysical, and other data products. The sensor suites are a combination of evolutionary developments from heritage sensors and longevity upgrades to existing sensors that are flying today. This poster provides detail on select sensors to include heritage and current status.
