After the Accident at Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant in April,1986, in order to improve the ability to simulate or forecast the accident as Chernobyl accident, Atmospheric Transportation Model Experiment Schedule ( ATMES) had been launched by the cooperation between the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) and the World Meteorological Organization(WMO). This research schedule provided technical support for different Environmental Emergency Response Activities of Regional Specialize Meteorological Center (RSMC) of WMO. In this paper, we do some research on simulating the concentration fields if such a big accident as Chernobyl accident happens at Qinshan Nuclear Power Plant by using Hysplit-4 model, under the standard scenario for a big nuclear accident as Chernobyl by WMO/IAEA. Some research results show that: 1) The winter season is the least dangerous season because the concentration field is uniformly distributed at the minimum level and many contaminated areas are located over the sea area while the autumn season is the most dangerous season because the concentration density is the strongest than those in other seasons and many contaminated areas cover more than 10 provinces of China and even including areas of Korea and Japan sea. The spring and summer seasons are separately the second and third most dangerous seasons. 2) Case study show us that the maximum radioactive center of the concentration field affected by the typhoon season would be much weaker than those concentration fields affected by MeiYU season.
