Comparative microclimatic analysis of in situ measurement and images in infrared thermal imaging of two urban spaces of the Marseilles's city.

ABSTRACT
Within the framework of a research project on the microclimatic urban on Mediterranean spaces, was carried out a first series of in-situ measurements and thermograph imageries in the town of Marseille (France). In the following, we present the results of this series in order to characterise and identify microclimatic effects, which are generated in the Mediterranean city. Two spaces "Jean Jaurès place and the Chave boulevard " (The Chave district), on the one hand, and the "Radieuse City" on the other hand, were selected for their morphological representativeness in the town of Marseille, they were compared to the climatic effects which they generate on their scale (which is that of a district) with knowing: 1 the Mall effect, 2 the dihedral effect, 3 the piles effect, 4 the canyon effect and 5 the effects of the urban plants. The first case study (the Chave district) regroups three types of spaces: Mall, Canyon and place with a plant of alignment, little sprinkled cover. The second case study regroups a less dense space, since it contains the only bar of the "Radieuse city" of Marseille with green surface of public park with regular water contributions. During this campaign, we use the standard means of measurements. This experimentation will be continued with the use of solar numerical simulation and the aerodynamic numerical simulation.
