Owlie Skywarn is the official mascot of the National Weather Service. The caricature is used to teach about hazards of severe weather and the importance of knowing the importance of emergency preparations. This workshop will feature activities and information about such destructive events as floods, hurricanes, tornadoes, winter storms and lightning. Attendees will receive Owlie books and information about how to obtain other materials pertinent to weather related phenomenon.
