Public Safety Alert (PSA) Program

This is a national campaign for the promotion of NOAA Weather Radio/All Hazards for every home and business in America. The partnership requires television meteorologists and local retailers to work together in promoting the concept of Public Alert certified NOAA Weather Radio distribution at a PSA special retail price.
These radios are state-of-the-art S.A.M.E. NOAA Weather Radios providing weather and civil emergency information direct from the National Weather Service and local emergency managers. Alert bulletins can include flash flooding, severe thunderstorms, tornadoes, tsunamis, chemical and radiological emergencies and Amber Alerts just to name a few.
