ABSTRACT

In this presented healthy work the analyses of episodio El-Nino 82-83 and 97-98, on the normal climatological of precipitation in the area of Medium Amazonas. The event El-Nino 82-83 register an anomaly of larger precipitation in the stations of Parintins, Prainha, and Oriximina (90,0mm), while in the other stations it was of 45,0mm. The event El-Nino 97-98, show a precipitation deficit in the order of 150,0mm below the normal, between the months of june and july of 1997. The comparison of monthly distribution of precipitation for the events of 1982-83 and 1997-98, with the normal climatological of precipitation, it showed that the impacto of this phenomenon in the less rainy period (September to November), it was of approximately 100%, even so in the rainiest month (March), the impact was of approximately 83% for 82-83 and 63% for 97-98.
