Lidar and ozonesonde observations of ozone structures in the Arctic stratosphere are presented from measurements at the Eureka NSDC station at 80°N 86°W. Examples of the profiles are shown for various conditions both inside and outside the polar vortex. Several mechanisms are responsible for these structures including: intrusions, filamentation, and advection. The structures are sometimes associated with warming events or rapid declines in potential vorticity as seen at the station.
