An Interactive Visual Computing Tool for Multi-Dimensional Scientific Analysis
Phillip A. Zuzolo, Autometric Inc., Springfield, VA; and S. G. Hoffert and A. M. Powell
Visualization of data is a difficult task; often the viewer has questions beyond what can be seen in the data display. To help solve this problem, an interactive tool for generating collaborative data displays while viewing the original data visualization was defined. A review of the tool's value and its implications for use are discussed.
A case study of how the new tool can be applied to a particular environmental scenario will be developed. Specific examples of how the tool improves visual content and provides better decision-making information will be discussed.
