Operational use of Synergie for aeronautical forecasts

PAPER WITHDRAWN

Marie-Françoise Voidrot, Meteo-France, Toulouse, France

Since the last operational release, Synergie offers some developments dedicated to specific profiles of forecasters. Dealing with aeronautical forecasts, this release allows : - visualising acars, amdars, icing areas, several isozero isotherms levels, -10 isotherm level, jet streams, condensation tracks risk volumes,.. - using Flight levels, - realising Significant Weather Charts thanks to a cooperative work of disseminated chief forecasters (National and Regional)... Its open architecture is able to implement the value added by any algorithm of pre or post processing into a main operational and evolutive system and to exchange expertise in an efficient way. This allows integrating the expertise of any kind of meteorologists (National and Regional forecasters, researchers, applied developers, computer programmers...) helping a global cooperation among different departments in order to support the forecasters in their daily challenges.
