DATA AND THE NWS, an overview of NWS Telecommunication Gateway data management

The National Weather Service Telecommunication Gateway fulfills several roles in domestic and international data acquisition and dissemination. This paper will review these roles with an examination of the scope of responsibility and functionality. It will also cover various delivery capabilities of the NWSTG with a focus on how and where users of data can get the information they want. Lastly an overview will be provided of what information is available.
