An Improved adjacency effect Calculation in Radiation Transfer Models

The satellate target retrieval resolution is influenced by the contribution of surrounding surface irradiance. Normally, surface adjacency effects are incorparated into the atmospheric radiative transfer model by weighting function. In this work, we designed a new scheme to incorparate the adjacency effect based on the more detailed description of interaction between atmosphere and complex surface, therefore improve the retrieval resolution.
