12.1 What I Have learned

Six long time broadcasters from a variety of markets, experiences and backgrounds will present and discuss "What I Have Learned". Each will have only 5 minutes to present what they consider to be the 5 most important things they have learned in broadcast meteorology and would like to impart to collegues and especially young people entering the profession. The moderator (R. Ryan) will gather, via e-mail, each participants 5 points and assemble a powerpoint presentation. Each participant gets 1 minute per point and at the end of the formal presentations discussions and questions from the floor would be taken. This would be a 45-1 hour panel discussion. Those who have accepted are: Dick Albert - Boston, Valerie Voss - retired (via phone), Ray Ban - Weather Channel, Pete Giddings - Reno, Bob Ryan - moderator/organizer, Tom Wills - Lexington (pending . . .should have confirmation by Jan 1.)
