Douglas N. Yarger, Iowa State University, Ames, IA; and D. Fils, D. Herzmann, and S. Loyd

A web site has been created to share course materials, searchable archives, metadata, pedagogical underpinnings, papers, project descriptions, and teaching and learning strategies between scientific disciplines. This project called Partnerships to Advance Learning in Science (PALS) http://www.pals.iastate.edu/ is designed to provide teachers access to both learning materials and the corresponding pedagogical framework for effective use of lesson modules. Interdisciplinary applications include meteorology, geology, global change, soil science and biology at Iowa State University
