Accurate estimates of hourly solar radiation are needed for renewable, hybrid, energy projects. Using data from 23 automated weather stations we investigated the spatial structure of hourly solar radiation in the Panhandle of Nebraska. Semivariograms were constructed for the hours ending at 0600, 0900, 1200, 1500, 1800, and 2100 central standard time (CST) on May 1, June 1, July 1, August 1, and September 1. We report the ranges and sills by hour and day as well as kriged maps and error analysis of the kriged values
