An implicit inverse method is used to determine vertical eddy diffusivity. The inverse problem is formulated as a nonlinear constrained optimization problem. The objective function is defined as the square difference between experimental and computed data. A regularization term is added to objective function with the help of a Lagrangian multuplier. In this paper the Thikhonov funtion and entropic regularization are used
