Serie of monthly mean averages of maximum and minimum temperatures were analyzed for the 1961-1998 period, using meteorological data recorded by Chilean Stations located in the northern tip of the Antarctic Peninsula. Monthly precipitation measurements and number of precipitation events (and type) were also study for the same period. Results indicate an overall warming specially for minimum temperature during winter, 0.7ºC and summer, 3.1ºC. Precipitation analysis shows an increment during the analyzed period with an increase in liquid precipitation (rain) events and a decrease of solid events (snow) through the period.
