The Earth System Grid Federation (ESGF) has provided the CMIP community with the computational and data support needed to fully realize the scientific potential of its data collections. The ESGF team is working very closely with the CMIP user community to develop new tools to enhance data publishing, search and retrieval, and analysis. In this session we will give an update on the CMIP-6 data availability and the ESGF services status. We discuss new tools for searching, downloading and subsetting data and we will discuss a new scalable cloud-enabled computational infrastructure with a Jupyter notebook front end. There are several efforts to develop a CMIP data processing pipeline or workflow, we will solicit presentations from these groups in order to cover the variety of available tools for climate data processing.
