Satellite ground system product processing within a major cloud service provider such as AWS or Azure can streamline lifecycle costs and potentially improve mission performance compared with traditional on-premises satellite ground systems. Establishing a flexible, robust and cost-efficient cloud-native product processing system that can execute enterprise and mission-unique science algorithms concurrently for multiple satellite instruments across a diverse set of missions enables a common ground system. L3Harris has developed a Cloud-Native Product Processing System (CNPPS) that offers an enterprise approach to encapsulating science algorithms, managing data and workflows, and monitoring performance. This enterprise approach to multi-mission product processing, reduces research to operation time, simplifies product access, dissemination, and archive, and streamlines sustainment and maintenance. The system has been demonstrated simultaneously producing products from the GOES-R, Himawari, SUOMI NPP, JPSS, and COSMIC missions while meeting product latencies.
