The U.S. Greenhouse Gas Center (US GHG Center) is a multi-agency effort to integrate greenhouse gas data from observations and models into credible, authoritative, trusted consensus greenhouse gas emissions and flux products for use in decision-making. The initial two-year demonstration phase includes the development of a one-stop data and analysis system that provides a means to explore and analyze U.S. government and other datasets. Three demonstration areas are used to organize and introduce the data included. Stakeholders are key to the success of the Center, with numerous points of engagement planned over the 2 year demonstration phase. User working groups, targeted workshops, training activities, and strategic communication are being planned, and stakeholders are encouraged to help scope and prioritize the evolution and maturation of the US GHG Center capabilities and influence the stakeholder engagement activities in the coming years.
