University of Wisconsin-Madison’s Cooperative Institute for Meteorological Satellite Studies (CIMSS) support of NOAA’s GOES-R Program continued for the program elements of Algorithm Working Group (AWG) Imagery Team and Calibration Working Group (CWG) projects. The team at CIMSS has created a web page for monitoring the GOES-R Advanced Baseline Imager (ABI) Cloud and Moisture Imagery Product (CMIP) metadata, as well as imagery quality, time-time imagery differences, multi-panel images and composites (http://cimss.ssec.wisc.edu/goes-r/abi-/16band_mainmenu.html). The GEO-GEO difference data quality monitoring website has also been updated with new features. The team also provided analysis for the Full Maturity status of GOES-18 ABI L1b radiance and CMIP products.
