Every school and institution has a powerful tool ready to be wielded by students, faculty, and staff alike - your library. While it is helpful to have good tools, it is also essential to use these tools in the right way. A library is filled with everything a student and/or educator could use to be successful. Whether they have a simple inquiry about where a meteorology encyclopedia is located or are completing an extensive research project on mid-latitude climate variability, libraries and their resources are full of tools. Each library is carefully designed and curated for the population they serve – resources found in elementary school or public libraries will vary immensely from academic libraries. In this session, the authors will discuss the importance of library resources in and out of the classroom, the types of resources to use, and why you should begin using them.
