Session Lessons learned during air quality field studies

Description:

According to the World Health Organization, more than 99% of the world's population live in areas that exceed their ambient air quality guidelines, despite downward trends in emissions in recent years.  Many air quality situations are complex and unique to the region in question, which motivates enhanced measurements through organized air quality field studies in partnership with local air quality management and the research community.  This session invites presentations sharing lessons learned during recent field study datasets collected from airborne-, ground-, and satellite-based perspectives to fill knowledge gaps within our understanding of air pollution problems in these regions.  Recent field campaigns of interest include, but are not limited to AGES+, ASIA-AQ, TRACER-AQ, and others.
