Aviation forecast products using the 10-km meso-scale model (MSM)

In Japan, there are very high needs to more precise aviation weather forecasts. To respond them, NPD/JMA members are developing the forecasting products. In addition, our numerical prediction model has improved recently. The 20-km meso-scale model has been updated to more precise 10-km model (10-km MSM).
Now we are developing the aviation-forecast products with using of the 10-km MSM data. For example, aerospace forecast images, hourly wind analysis, aviation weather forecast guidance, and so on.
In this presentation, we would show the operational forecast products for aviation weather of JMA, and some of developing ones.
