Operational meteorology depends upon access to radio spectrum for the acquisition of science data and the dissemination of processed data and products that communicate this to users. Planned or proposed changes to radio spectrum usage in satellite, passive sensor and radar bands cover many varied segments of spectrum. How might these combined proposals impact operational meteorology or hydrology?
